The exhilarating colours against the blue of the sea make me happy, so I can only smile whilst gazing at this delightful
picture.

I like the irregular tilting of the sails and the disorder of the boats as if beached in haste following a rather hectic day of sailing, some sails at full mast, others flutter gently.
We live in a small village surrounded by lake so the liveliness in this painting is familiar to me, however to put it on canvas with such authenticity is incredible. As with all beautiful days, which this painting portrays, the coulours are vivid, reflecting a brilliant sun shining down of a group of people who have just had the time of their lives.

It shares with me its optimism, and is so lovely I could eat it. Just a peek at this picture gives me a feeling of healthiness, and I would go so far as to say it reminds me to eat fruit.
