Pitches made for painting
From Frances (2nd entry)
‘Tis her I think of when I sleepAnd her on waking sigh for –
If she was a cat I’d give her the cream,
If she was a girl I’d twirl her.
But she is a PAINTING, Lordy me!
And one I’d gladly die for...
And gallant owner wannabees
Queue up in a line to win her!
Oh my! Oh me!
What chance for me?
Oh I am sore besotted!
But La Le Brid is coming soon
To herald her season open
And I pray God ‘tis here with me
‘Lillies in Spring’ will bide a wee
And we’ll grow old together!
THE END!
I love Lillies in Spring!
