2) Secondly, I think you paint because you are a contrary sort of person who enjoys sitting outdoors in cold weather getting your arse wet and your bones perished to the marrow – a bit perverse really, so I’m not altogether certain about this reason.

3) I think you paint because Painting’s got you and you can’t help yourself! I know you resisted for a long time, but finally I think Painting’s got you and there’s no going back.

4) And there’s a fourth suggestion! I think you paint and paint so beautifully and magically and desirably because you are a consummate perfectionist and you have extraordinary discipline and you see with a very sensitive eye and heart and you follow through and make manifest and you DO where others dream and wish – you DO!
